Robin van de Poll
Robin van de Poll studied Organisational Sciences and Human Resources Management at the University of Amsterdam. He started his career in 1982 at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, before becoming a professional consultant with Nehem in 1989.

In a large number of international projects he dealt with Labour Market and Human Resources Development. Internationally he was/is engaged with the strengthening of Public Employment Services in Belarus, Armenia and the United Arabic Emirates.
Furthermore, he participated in the establishment and strengthening of vocational training centres in Belarus and Moldova. He managed different large redeployment (Labour Pool) projects in Egypt and the Czech Republic. Concerning organisation design and HRD he worked on projects in Egypt, Belarus and Hungary. Stimulation of Self-Employment was initiated by him in Hungary, Belarus and Egypt.

Robin has been the managing director of Nehem International BV since 2005.
Caterina Occhio
Caterina Occhio is a development consultant with an MA in Political Sciences and an MA in International Relations. She has in-depth knowledge of all phases of Project Cycle Management for development aid projects (identification, acquisition, implementation and evaluation).

Prior to joining Nehem International, she worked in Brussels for three years as an R&D Manager for BBJ GmbH, one of the leading German social consultancy firms.

Her regional experience is focused on Central and Eastern Europe, CIS and Mediterranean countries. Her recent tasks include: Team Leader in a 2 years project for the creation of a Women Employment Centre in Turkey, Project Director for supporting work-linked training activities in Estonia and Coordinator for a pilot project for VET reform in Egypt.
Kees van Uitert
Kees van Uitert has been a managing partner of EIM Consult since 2001. Kees studied at the Universtity of Groningen and obtained a Master Degree in Economy and Labour Market Studies. The bulk of his experience concerns the field of labour market projects and human resource management. Before joining EIM and EIM Consult, he worked in various organizations, such as Ministry of Social Affairs, the trade union FNV, the Dutch Labour Office and Dutch employment agency Start.

Nowadays Kees is an advisor for several sectors on the issue of recruitment policies, labour market problems and other issues. An example is his activities for the Dutch education sector and the sector of Dutch municipals.
Xavier Weert
Xavier Weert is a consultant with vast experience in research and development. He currently runs his own firm, Aperture, serving private companies, universities and research institutes on the leading edge of technological innovation. His advice covers the entire spectrum from strategic advice to fund raising.

Xavier has a broad technological and thorough scientific background. After receiving his MSc degree in mining and petroleum engineering from the Delft University of Technology, he obtained a PhD in fluid dynamics at Imperial College, London. In the course of his professional career, he gradually moved from technology to management consultancy. His home turf is corporate strategy.

In recent years, he has been involved in a number of projects in international cooperation in the social sector, mainly in Turkey and Morocco. He is now regularly asked to evaluate project proposals on behalf of the European Commission.
Emile Roest
Emile Roest is an experienced project manager and consultant for international development projects in Central-and Eastern Europe and Africa. Since 1993 he was particularly involved in projects focusing on socio-economic development, nature conservation, and institution building in EU accession countries. He has particular experience with strategic consulting for sustainable development and regional development. The Slovak government awarded him a prize for proposing the best sustainable development strategy for the High Tatra region after the wind calamity in 2004 (as project director with VVMZ).

Emile Roest graduated in law and business administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, holds a Masters of European Management (CEMS), and is certified as project manager by the International Project Management Association. Since 2007 he is President of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia, and as such involved in various charities.
Katinka Moonen
Katinka Moonen has a master’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Amsterdam and studied International Politics and Communication at Université Paris VIII.

She has been involved in the audiovisual sector since 1994 in the Netherlands and France. Katinka Moonen is one of the pioneers of the “Kijkwijzer” system, an audio-visual rating system. She has assisted with the introduction of this system in Hungary, Poland, Italy, France, UK, Germany, Austria and before the European Commission. She also helped setting up a European wide coder network for the PEGI system and organised several coder training sessions in UK, Norway and France.

Together with Nehem International, she has helped implementing the audio-visual rating system in Turkey's Audiovisual Media.
Zuhal Tataroglu
Zuhal Tataroglu led some of Nehem International’s most complex projects to successful completion on the challenging intersection of the Turkish public administration with civil society.

Zuhal received part of her training in the USA on a Fullbright scholarship, and ended her professional career as a Deputy Director-General of the Turkish Ministry of Social Affairs, responsible for the Social Services and Child Protection Agencies. Not content with retirement, she rolled up her sleeves again and sat on the board of a number of NGOs in Turkey for a few years. Now she is back in her old habitat with SEED’s Dove project.
